PsycInfo is the primary index to the literature of psychology. It is compiled by the American Psychological Association and contains records from 1887 to the present. PsycInfo indexes book chapters, dissertations, and journals in English as well as many other languages. If there is no full-text in PsycInfo, use PacificLink to see if the full-text of the article is available elsewhere.

How to Search PsycInfo

  • Select PsycInfo from the library database page under Psychology.
  • Select the type of search. PsycInfo can be searched by author, title, keyword and many additional indexed fields. Advanced Search guides you through these fields. It is recommended to limit to JOURNAL ARTICLES ONLY!
