  • The best place to start, Academic Search Complete covers almost every academic discipline. The database indexes both scholarly and popular publications. Many of the citations lead to full-text articles. The dates of coverage vary by title, use the Publications link to find information about specific journals.

  • To access Academic Search Complete, connect via the library's database page. Note that you can limit your search to full-text articles or articles from scholarly (peer reviewed) publications.

  • Following your search, you will see a list of records. You can save, print, or email the records, by saving them to the folder. For records that say HTML full-text or PDF Full-Text (see below), you can also save, view, print, or email the entire article.

  • If the record is marked “HTML or PDF Full Text”, you can view and print out the document from the computer. If the record is marked “abstract” you will need to locate a print version of the journal. The PacificLink PacificLinkbutton points you to full-text in different library databases. Try it!
  • You can compile a list of records by adding them to a folder. When your folder is complete, you can email that list of records to yourself, save it for later access, or print it.
