Responsibilities

As a Reference Librarian, I provide reference service, research assistance, and instruction to Pacific students, faculty, and staff. I am the subject liaison to the Eberhardt School of Business and the departments of Communication, Earth & Environmental Sciences, and Economics. I manage those areas of our collection and can provide more targeted instruction and research assistance to the faculty and students of those departments.

In my role as Collection Development Coordinator,  I recommend and approve the acquisition of books, periodicals, databases, and other library materials based on input from librarian colleagues, Pacific professors, students, and professional reviews. We strive to provide the best print, audio-visual, and electronic resources  to meet the curricular and research needs of our users.

If you are faculty, I can:

  • Provide library instruction in your classes or one-to-one reference with your students
  • Work with you to provide materials to support your research and coursework
  • Help with research
  • Assist you in any other way with using the library's resources

If you are a student, I can:

  • Help you with any stage of your research
  • Work with you to find and provide materials to support your research
  • Assist you in any other way with using the library's resources
