Special Borrowers

Special Borrowers include Pacific alumni, Pacific faculty spouses, Delta College faculty and students, and any borrowers otherwise not affiliated with the University of the Pacific.  The borrowing privileges and library card fees are as follows: 

Borrowing Privileges

Loan Period: 28 days

Total Checkouts Allowed: 10 items at one time

Renewals: Items may be renewed once, for 28 days, unless a hold has been placed by another patron.

Recalls: After two weeks, all materials are subject to recall. Late materials are subject to overdue fines. Failure to return a recalled book within seven days will result in billing as a lost book or item.

Interlibrary Loan: Not available. This service provided for current Pacific faculty, students, and staff only.

Periodicals: Cannot be checked out. However, you may make copies in our copier room.

PacifiCat: Our online catalog is available at http://pacificat.pacific.edu

Computer Workstations: Not available except for PacifiCat, the online catalog. All computer and software resources are available only to current Pacific faculty, staff, and students.

Group Study Rooms: Not available for reservations. Study rooms may be reserved by current Pacific students only.

Library Card Fees

  • Free for Pacific alumni, Pacific faculty spouses, and Delta faculty
  • $20.00 per semester for Delta College students
    (Delta faculty and students must first obtain an application at the Delta College Library Reference Desk, with librarian's signature)
  • $50.00 per year for non-Pacific patrons
